If you all have recently taken up for blogging, here are certain things you must know and follow, in order to become a super blogger.
First, fastening yourself up.
When I tell someone about blogging, they just get into wrong notion and think that creating a blog is more difficult than generating content for it. So please, all the new bloggers don’t take up this wrong thinking.
Second, defining your blog.
You must first decide what you are going to write about and then keep your mind concrete about it. You must never deviate from the topic. Yes, your content must have variety, but all must be revolving around a certain subject. For example, take up my blog. I write about web services and blogs, but all my content is included under the category of internet and IT.
If you are generating content, it must be unique, and please, if you want to be a super blogger then choose your topics carefully. One thing what I’ve noticed is that people try and write about their personal life and experiences. They transform their blog in to, a kind of, a personal diary which has been thrown open. It is not a bad idea if you want to share such things, but if you consider your blog as a way to make some fortune, then remember that you aren’t Paris Hilton, Brad Pitt or Amitabh Bachan that people will be interested in knowing about what’s going on in your life. So, as I mentioned earlier, choose your topics carefully.
Third, writing original and quality content.
What you write must be original and your own. And it should be some quality content. People will only read your blog if you write something original and what is useful to your readers. Otherwise you cannot generate much traffic. If you are unable to generate content for your blog frequently and at a good pace, then you could go for guest writers. They can be your friends or hired ones.
Fourth, making yourself known.
Having only good and original content won’t do. You need to increase the visibility of your blog on the internet. Making it more simplified, you need to have a good traffic on your blog, i.e., you need to have a good following of people on the net, who read your blog. And the number of your followers must not be constant; it should be ever increasing (which in turn needs quality content). You must know and always keep track of your blog’s stats. Neglecting this makes you nothing more than an average blogger. Promote your blog where ever possible. Link exchange is a good way to do this. Make yourself known through social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, etc.
Fifth, joining social forums and knowing bloggers in your niche
You must join blogging forums so that you are well updated about blogging tips and tricks and always take part in group discussions. By doing so, you also come to know about fellow bloggers In your niche.
Sixth, keeping patience.
Earning using your blog is not as easy as many people think. The most basic way of getting revenues from your blog is from ads. For ads, your blog must be popular with huge traffic. Huge traffic will only be there if you update your blog frequently with original and quality content. Having offers for ads from companies may take as less as 4 months or as much as 4 years. So keeping patience is the most important thing to be a super blogger.
